Kassi + Ty

Kassi & Ty’s wedding blended the classic elements of Los Angeles with their unique style, representing who they are as a couple. We started the day at Kimpton Everly Hotel, where the Hollywood hills offered an excellent backdrop to those intimate moments before walking down the aisle. The design of the hotel is cool contemporary and has old-school Hollywood nods. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, it is a central, beautiful hotel to consider for your wedding day!

The time between the ceremony and reception can be a special moment for couples to cherish the day and capture intimate photos together. This intimate time with just the couple is one of my favorite parts of the day!

Ebell of Los Angeles was built in 1927. Since its inception it has been owned by Ebell Los Angeles Women’s Club, and its theater has had notable performances from renowned actors and actresses like Judy Garland and Glenn Gould. The building is on the National Register of Historic Sites and boasts a stunning Italian Renaissance style.

To round out the night, I love to get those action shots on the dance floor, when everyone has been on their best behavior all day and is ready to let loose! It is truly a joy to capture each person’s personality, and close out your wedding day with some fun.

I included a special treat in this blog post! Right below you will see a full video of the amazing wedding day done by Wes Films. Wes is a dear colleague & friend whom I have worked with on weddings and corporate events for over ten years. I even photographed his wedding! I 100% recommend hiring a videographer for your wedding day so you can watch your wedding day years later — and Wes Films is the best in the business!
